(Open Argument) Why is weed illegal and why should it be decriminalized.?

There are many people who do not know the truth of why Cannabis is illegal, I am not a pothead like some may think, i just appreciate all the cannabis plant has done for us and would like more people to know the real reason why it is illegal, not because it is a drug but because it is a menace to corporations.(NO PEOPLE SAYING WEED IS A DRUG, YOUR ANSWERS WILL BE TERMINATED OR MARKED DOWN!!!)
