Editing my first youtube video? How to use Window's Movie Maker?

I am wanting to cut certain pieces out of the video i made, how do i do this? When i imported the video onto wmm, it just came out to be one frame (i did one video earlier and it came up as numerous frames in the "contents pane" i think its called) So the video is just one long frame, if that makes sense. One the storyboard it just has the still photo of the video on the far left, then the rest of the length of the video it has just a white background. What i am asking is how can i clip/delete certain portions of the video? This is the first time i am using it and i really do not know what to do. The Window's "help" tabs weren't that helpful. Thank you for your answers! I have to have this video done and uploaded by 11:59 tonight.
