I'm 27 years old, does that make me a young adult or just an adult?

I'm confused, I always thought the cutoff age was 24 or 25, but lately I've heard the argument that the cutoff age isn't until 30 years old. But then again I feel like I have a stunted adolescence/ young adulthood due to circumstances beyond my control and upbringing.
