Apple iPad2 or Samsung Galaxy Tab?

better if I get answers from a techie, who have studied the pros and cons of each.. thanks :) I'm planning to buy either using my hard-earned money, so I really need a very honest opinion on this. My bf says I should choose Galaxy Tab because Android has billions of apps, while my uncle suggests iPad 2, as he is also planning to buy one.
