Is the theory by Scientologists of a psychological "Clear" similar to the idea of rechanneling repressed anger?

Scientology is the biggest scam on the planet. It exploits peoples dissatisfaction with life and themselves to make $$$millions from them by telling them they can be cured if they do what Scientology says. They will not hesitate to kill anyone who opposes them and are the very definition of a dangerous cult. A for psychology, they are phucked up idiots and nasty bast*rds who have no idea at all about what they are doing. They are just as much complete assh*oles as the Scientologists.
